Diversity and inclusion policy
Better thinking comes from a wider range of people. We are committed to a working environment where everyone is treated fairly, with dignity and respect, and can do their best work.
Our commitment
We do not tolerate discrimination, harassment, bullying or victimisation on any grounds, including age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, neurodivergence, caring responsibilities or socio-economic background.
Recruitment and progression
- Job adverts use plain language and list only genuinely necessary requirements.
- We share interview questions and the process in advance so people can prepare.
- We offer adjustments at every stage, and ask about them early and openly.
- Decisions are based on structured, evidence-based assessment against clear criteria.
Inclusive ways of working
We design meetings, documents and tools to be accessible by default: readable typography, strong colour contrast, captions, agendas circulated in advance, and written follow-ups. We support flexible working and respect different communication preferences.
Inclusive delivery
Inclusion shapes our client work as well as our team. We consider who is affected by a change, whose data is represented and whose is missing, and we test AI and analytics work for bias and unequal impact. We recommend meaningful human oversight for decisions that affect people.
Responsibility and reporting
Everyone at CosmicQuark is responsible for upholding this policy, and leadership is accountable for it. Concerns can be raised in confidence with the directors, or by emailing enquiries@cosmicquark.co.uk. Concerns are taken seriously, handled sensitively and acted on.
Review
We review this policy at least annually, alongside feedback from our team, clients and partners.
